On Saturday, September 23rd, RM Gastro celebrated the occasion of opening its new production plant in Veselí nad Lužnicí. The producer of professional catering equipment has thus doubled its production area to 7700 m2 and will create job opportunities for new employees in the next years.

The investment of the Czech technology company into its largest project to date has exceeded CZK 120 mil. This will enable the company, which has its own R&D department,to expand its production capacity and product portfolio it offers to its current customers, as well as open up access to new markets.

„We have invested into modern technologies that are crucial to making production more efficient. With the new machines, we are able to process metal sheets precisely and make next-generation products. Our most important products include the RM 700 line, and we want to expand our production with the new REDFOX 700 and RM 900 lines, "Jan Pohl, Production Manager, said. "We view our employees as key to long-term development, so we invest not only in their education but also in a modern work environment. We are already building a relaxation zone on the premises of the company, including a small pond. “The park will be accessible to the public, which is in spirit of the corporate vision: "We help create a better society" added Ladislav Mrkvička, CEO of the production plant RM Gastro.

"In this part of the development project, we have built a new production plant, including administrative facilities, a warehouse, assembly plant and canteen; we have also invested in anti-noise measures. We have also improved the access road and extended parking space for employees, " said the manager of the construction project Barbora Šimánková. In the second phase, RM Gastro's development investment will increase the production floor by 4500 m2. The strategic goal of the company is to more than double the production of its own products by 2020.
