On Wednesday June 14, the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce (FČOK) awarded four companies that succeeded in foreign markets. The aim of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce Award is to encourage other enterprises in their efforts to expand in markets abroad and support trade between the Czech Republic and France.
In the category of “Successful SME’s in France”, RM Gastro has received an award for creation and production of professional catering equipment. France, the centre of global gastronomy, and a highly competitive market, is RM Gastro’s second largest export market. Its typical customers in France include restaurants, hotels, fast food venues and pizzerias.
The French Valeo have received an award for technological innovation in their R&D centre in Prague. Chamberlan, a French producer of industrial rails from Le Havre, were a laureate in the category of SME Business Incubator. Sipral, a leading supplier of glazed and perforated metal facade structures, received an award in the category of Czech design in France. The award ceremony was followed by the opening of the fourth French Week.

What is important on this successful journey, including in the French market, is our business philosophy, which reflects the traditions, requirements and language of the local market. The French-Czech Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1996, serves as a platform for developing the French-Czech community, and its business and cultural relations, as well as supporting the idea of a single Europe.
